Platform Migration
At some point, projects outgrow their first version in search of scale and features. Perhaps the application is now too big, or more advanced platform capabilities are required.
Here are a few possible reasons why projects might want to migrate:
- Deployment package size exceeding 50 MB, or unzipped size exceeding 200 MB
- Expanded use of a different language or framework (e.g. Java, .NET, C#, Python with wheels)
- Connectivity directly to on-premise data centres through GEN
- Adoption of a sprawling microservice architecture
